Have you ever wondered how your hidden passion can turn into your career path?
For me, my journey began as a high school student in Physics and Chemistry, then I became a university student in Commerce and Marketing, eventually evolving into a Full-Stack Digital Marketer. On the occasion of my first blog post, I’ll share my journey with you, but the upcoming posts will focus on the latest trends in digital marketing, so I encourage you to check them out later.
At first, the internet was just a source of entertainment where I used to edit videos with Kinemaster and edit photos with PicsArt. But over time, it turned into a deeper discovery of the digital world, especially online work. I still remember the first dollar I earned from my store on eBay, which was my gateway into the world of e-commerce. Later, I expanded to platforms like Etsy and ventured into other fields like CPA, affiliate marketing, domain flipping, selling digital products, Riskin for apps, and website management with the goal of earning through ads.
The numerous fields I explored made me distracted, preventing me from mastering one field, which affected my studies. I aspired to join ENCG or ISCAE, but I wasn’t able to. I decided to try again with "Bac Libre" in the 2022/2023 academic year, but a new ministerial decision that year prevented me from applying to the same program, making me feel like it was a wasted year.
At the same time, the academic system underwent a significant transformation, introducing several features that made the new diploma better than the old system's diploma, with updated curricula and a "Licence d'Excellence" tailored to specific fields, rather than a general Economics and Management diploma.
Given the variety of specializations in the new pedagogical engineering system for universities in Morocco, I was torn between different fields. But soon I realized that everything I had been doing previously—editing videos, Photo Editing, domain flipping, and managing websites and more.... was all related to digital marketing. So, I chose the specialization of Commerce et Marketing.
Today, as I continue my studies in what I am passionate about at FSJES of Hassan II University, I benefit from the new educational system that offers advantages, and I keep developing my skills through self-learning. While still a student, I feel immense energy and a deep passion for digital marketing that I cannot contain until I reach Bac +5. That’s why I choose to channel this energy now by engaging in multiple professional experiences to develop my skills in various professional environments, refining my expertise in digital marketing—a field I am truly passionate about.
Thanks to my previous experiences, I’ve encountered many digital tools and platforms, which helped me develop the skill of quick adaptation. In an era when AI wasn't as accessible as it is today, I used to search forums and watch YouTube videos to solve problems and learn new tools. This experience has made me capable of adapting to any new tool or digital challenge today.
I didn’t come across digital marketing by chance or on the advice of a friend; it was a passion that grew with me without me realizing it. Today, I combine this passion with self-learning, academic education, and practical experience, leading to continuous growth in my career as a Full-Stack Digital Marketer, and I still aspire for more.
